My brother, Bill, always said,
if you can't beat them, confuse them...
and I repeated it often, thinking it a brilliant quip
from my often witty brother...
Years later, I find that actually that's a quote from Harry Truman
but Bill embellished it...
" If you can't beat them, confuse them
and if you can't confuse them, then mumble..."
and of course, George Carlin once said,
" If you can't beat them
arrange to have them beaten...."
